Can't get co-pilot to respond to ATC - I tell him your ATC and he acknowledges but then never responds when ATC call - any ideas?

Sorry for the delay.

X-Plane native ATC interfacing is as poor as the built-in ATC itself.

There is no menu.

There is no support for airliners

A single voice transmits on behalf of all traffic

A single voice speaks on behalf of all controllers.

No way for FO to work out what's going on. No menu, no options. Just send "Enter" key for everything.

Barely usable if you handle transmission yourself and know about all the quirks with Native X-Plane ATC, like only getting replies when starting from the ramp.

For serious ATC, be aware there are 2 very mature ATC systems, PF3 ATC and Radar Contact ATC.

They were designed for FSX (and P3D).

You would need one of these plugins to get them to work with X-Plane.
