DHC3 Beaver - No Lights/CTD Often P3D4.2

Featured Replies

I have been trying to enjoy some PNW bush flying with my DHC3 but I have no interior or instrument lights.

I turn on the switch Instr Light  and crank up the brightness on the lower console area but it’s pitch black in this bird. The GPS, KAP140 and transponder are lit up and the warning lights work plus I also get the exterior landing lights but no interior lights to work.

I am also getting a lot of CTD about an hour into any flight and as soon as I reload that flight I get 5-10 minutes at most before it CTD. Generally after a full restart and a new flight I am good for another hour.

Also, is the airspeed gauge a known problem? Or am I missing something. That things is crazy erratic and my GTN750 and littlenavmap tracker show about a 10knt difference always.

I uninstalled. Reinstalled as administrator without antivirus running (although after FSLabs this is still a thing?). No issues there.

I run P3D as administrator.

I installed the full package of C+ runtime listed on the website.

Thanks,

Brian

Get on the forums.

FSLabs is using DRM.  We're not.  The reason for the AV being off is because we're using special codes to do what we do to make the planes custom.

This is expected and normal for quality addons.

As to your gauges and lighting... those are almost certainly either due to missing files, bad install or AV.
