Losing mouse panning

Featured Replies

Hi,

I would like to point out a problem I face recently with ChasePlane. The problem is, that after I load a flight and Chaseplane starts, it seems that while I can change views with my keyboard shortcuts normally, I can't pan around holding down the middle mouse button. To fix this, I have to manually shut down Chaseplane and restart it. This is somehow annoying to do everytime, so for now I disabled Chaseplane autostart feature as if I start Chaseplane manually after I load a flight, the problem does not happen.

Is this something that can be fixed in the current version or maybe should be looked at? I run the Experimental version.

Thank you!

I'm having exactly the same problem.

Autostart Chasplane with P3Dv4.2; click+hold middle  mouse button and P3D window is minimized on my monitor. As I can see in the small window, mouse movements will make me 'look around in the cockpit. After a few clicks on the middle mouse button P3D aborts.

I was used to 'look around' while holding the middle mouse button in EZDOKv2. Cannot do that in Chaseplane (or I have not yet found out how to do that). Very annoying. If anyone can tell me how to make this happen correctly as in EZDOK I'll be gratefull. There must be a way...... but HOW?

Dirk

I just found out that while P3D is not active the middle mouse button does the same. Some kind of Window10 thing?  Weird. I checked Logitech Setting and the MMbutton is assigned as 'middle mouse button'. It always worked that way.

Okay. For anyone else who has the same problem. What happened was weird. For no good reason the Logitech Setpoint program changed the function of the MMB into 'Application switch' although I selected (and the program was showing) the MMB as 'Middle button'. To find a solution I even switch back and forth to other functions, but always saved the MMB as 'Middle button'. However...., it behaved otherwise.

Thanks to Microsoft support I was able to solve the problem by simply removing the Setpoint program from my computer. The mouse does work without it as it should. I have not installed setpoint again. Everything works fine.
