FSHotSFX - abandoned?

Featured Replies

I would have loved to use FSHotSFX to add some AI sounds to my setup, but after reported incompabilites with Radar Contact 4.x, I decided to investigate further. Their forums appear to be dead and answers related (and un-related) to the issues remain without anyone responding. There is not even an email address where someone could request more information and no indication how old the current build is, so I think I'll scratch that one off my list.Too bad that a good program (as reported here earlier) has come to an "abandoned" status while the 'company' still takes money from customers without offering any kind of support.*shrug*

I agree. This is the only FS company that I have delt with that has sub-par support... or should I say not existing support. I have FSHotseat but I only use it for the AI sound FX which is great. I'm lucky I guess as it works great on my system but then I don't use Radar Contact. So if that is the deal breaker for you, I would avoid purchasing it because if it doens't work properly with RC then you are pretty much on your own for support. Good luck.
