March 19, 20188 yr Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone else seems to notice the distinct lack of variety in the squawk codes assigned for IFR flight? Every single time it's '3 0 * *'. It's not a huge issue, but I was wondering if it's something to do with my setup or is it a common thing in Voxatc? Is there anything that can be adjusted in the config file to change it? P.s. I use P3Dv4 and Voxatc 7.1 Many thanks for your time! Mitchell Thomas
March 19, 20188 yr No, it's not your setup. The same thing is true with VOXATC flight numbers being limited to 3 digits. It's probably a coding artifact left over to improve performance. But beyond that, squawk code assignment varies so much from country to country that it would be a massive task to make it completely realistic. Just take a look at this summary of the allocation system as an example: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transponder_(aeronautics)#Code_assignments
