Issue: FO readback cut off

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm using VoxATC in Prepar3d v4 (4.0, 4.1 and 4.2). I haven't used it with previous sims.

I usually fly with FO controlling the coms. Using voices from Ivona or Cereproc.

The issue:

In flight, when A.T.C. tells me that there's a frequency change, FO starts his/her readback, but only gets in a few words before their voice cuts out. So I never hear the full readback, which is unrealistic and sounds very odd. I suspect that this is because FO is changing his/her com frequency during the readback - this seems to happen around the time that speech stops.

Questions:

- Is this a common or ubiquitous issue?

- Is their a fix?

Thanks!

Rob

Hi Rob,

Yes, this issue affects me, and others here on the forum have reported the same.  It has been reported to the developer and we shall wait and see if it has been addressed in the next update, hopefully in the not too distant future!

In the meantime just bear with it,  not much else to do.
