I created a new thread for your post!  Your original post was placed into an 11 year old thread.  That is considered Necroposting.

There are lots of 3rd party freeware aircraft that do a decent job of that effect.  Most, if not all, of Manfred Jahn's aircraft's engines will burst into magnificent flames if not flown correctly.  Do a search through the AVSIM Library or Google search for FSX engine fire effects.
