FSX:SE micro stuttering

Featured Replies

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help..I've installed FSX steam and it doesn't seem to fly well. I get mini stutters when the aircraft moves, turns etc. Sometimes I also get a blank screen if I switch aircraft on the ground or mid-flight. I've tried basic recommended tweaks and uninstalling and re-installing the game. Also tried deleting folders so they can automatically build new ones, but nothing seems to work!! Even tried minimal graphic/traffic/weather settings.

The fps seem to be fine according to the indicator I had, so not sure what the issue is.

Make sure that no apps are running in the background whilst running FSX. The Windows Task Manager will tell you what's using up CPU time: press Ctrl/Shift/Esc and select the Processes tab. Click at the top of the CPU column to show the biggest users. What screen resolution are you using?
