April 21, 20188 yr Hi all. Any chance the Reality XP GNS 530W V2 is compatible with the Carenado Pilatus PC12 in Prepared V2/3/4 (or other Carenado turboprop aircraft)? The Carenado website for PC12 states: NOTE: This aircraft does not have a 2D panel. Reality XP only work in FSX. It does not work in P3D I guess there is something aircraft specific which would make it incompatible? I'm hoping V2 has some sort of 'work around'? Thank you
April 21, 20188 yr Hi, This only means Carenado has not updated their configuration files and their panel files to accommodate the newest GNS V2, and that they are still shipping legacy GNS configurations... They are catching up over time, you might want to also lobby them! However, this means you can relatively easily swap the config from the legacy to the GNS V2 gauge though, either automatically using the GUI Panel Assistant, then enabling the GNS V2 setting "Use Legacy L:Vars", or manually in the panel.cfg file, or even making a copy of rxpGNS2.dll/.gau to rxpGNS.gau and let it figure it out automatically. There are a number of threads about this in the GNS V2 FltSim forum, and examples in the Official Panel Configuration discussion as well.

Didn't realise just how big this community is.. I'm now aware of subforum for PC12 also! Thanks!
