June 28, 200619 yr I, and a friend of mine, downloaded and installed the GREAT Boeing 22 Panel. I installed mine in a 737-500 FFX plane and a 737-800 Posky plane. My friend installed his into the default Boeing 737-400. My planes had no virtual cockpits and all the views using the view keys on the NUMPAD worked fine. The default 737-400 evidently has a virtual cockpit as part of the model. When he uses the same keys he sees the views called out in the fixed windows section but also sees the virtual cockpit behind the fixed windows. Is there any fix for this problem? I see there are virtual cockpit sections in the panel.cfg. We really do love the panel. It is a work of art. I tried contacting Florian but the e-mail came back to me as not accepted. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks and best regards, Bob.
June 28, 200619 yr Have your friend go to the FS9.cfg file and find this section:[GRAPHICS]Locate the line:See_Self=1and change it to:See_Self=0That will eliminate virtual cockpit images. R-
June 28, 200619 yr Hi Ron. Thanks for the answer. My question now is how to use the modified panel.cfg with all planes. There is a VC section in the panel.cfg. It is the same as the VC section in the default B737-400. If we are using the modified panel.cfg with a plane that has no VC there is no problem. If we use it with the default B737 then we will see dual images if See Self=1. If we wanted to use it with a plane that already has a VC then do we have to overwrite the section for the VC in the panel.cfg with the VC section of the panel.cfg section of the plane that has the VC? I like to have See Self=1 so that I see all wing views. Thanks, regads, Bob.
June 29, 200619 yr Sorry Bob but I have no idea (but this will serve as a bump and perhaps someone who knows the answer will see it and respond). R-
