No, and for good reasons as only the original developer of the model can and has the rights to perform changes.

An .mdl file is the compiled result of thousands of hard working hours, first the designer has to create a 3D representation in 3Dmax or similar product, then create textures and map these to the 3D representation, then animate all parts, then tag and introduce source code for events and animations so they work with P3D or FSX and then compile the .mdl file.

Then it has to configure all the aerodynamic variables, test, adjust and verify the model is behaving as expected, if problems are found you might get back to stage one, edit and start again.

So If you want to edit the model you need the source files of each stage and I don't know many developers willing to give them.
