Featured Replies

Dear FSReborn!

I am eagerly awaiting your payware products, any news?

Is it possible to install your light effects on FSPXAI aircraft?

Hi Boaz,

Many thanks for your message, AI Lights Reborn Profesional Edition is now in BETA stage and we will be showing a demonstration of the progress of the product during the upcoming Flight Sim Expo in Vegas.

Regarding your second question, we can support any installed P3D SimObject (The technical term for AI Airplanes) as long as they are developed in accordance with Lockheed Martin or Microsoft FSX SDK (Software Developer Kit) instructions.

Unfortunately FSPXAI AI Airplanes are not developed in accordance with  LM or MS SDK instructions as the developer didn't followed specific requirements from Lockheed Martin and Microsoft which instructs content developers to declare the Airplane lighting either inside the Aircraft.cfg file or attaching effects via attachment points inside the SimObject Model  source file (.mdl file) via 3DMax using the available SDK tools.

Instead FSPXAI is implementing the Airplanes lighting using custom made objects, scripts and techniques that are not officially supported by Lockheed Martin or Microsoft, as a result the product lighting configuration is incompatible with others content providers as ourselves.

You can find clear instructions inside Lockheed Martin SDK were it describes how any SimObject lighting should be developed by following this link: http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/modeling/3ds_max/modeling/new_aircraft_procedures.html#Adding Lights

For this reasons any of our AI Lighting products cannot work with FSPXAI Aircraft.

All the best,
Simbol
