No low-level clouds?

Featured Replies

So I installed ENVTEX the other day, and all of my low-level clouds have disappeared. I'm using ASCA and I have read a couple of solutions talking about deleting specific shaders to fix it, but I'm not sure what exactly i need to do. Any ideas? Thanks.

There’s a file you need to delete and allow to rebuild by repairing p3d through the client installer (right click on the client installer and select repair).

I’m not in front of my sim computer so I can’t remember the exact location but  the file is called “clouds”, sorry can’t remember the extension (might be .fx?) but there’s a thread I started here that has the details if you search on my username.

Superb, thank you so much for the help- it's been doing my head in 🙂

My pleasure!  I felt the same way when I had the issue.  I love a cloudless day in real life but not so much in the sim!

I think the folder/file is this one:

Prepar3D v4\ShadersHLSL\Cloud.fx
