Terra Flora and FTX Regions

I saw this here:

Does this mean if I have an FTX Region and if I have TDFI's Terra Flora, I will not see the Terra Flora trees in the FTX Region, as the FTX Regions have their own trees that overwrite the Terra Flora ones?

That's a shame. Terra Flora trees look amazing imo. Is there no way at all to prioritize Terra Flora over other stuff when it comes to trees?

I wish I could.  Maybe there is a way though....
