PMDG 777 reducing thrust at takeoff

Featured Replies

I only just purchased the PMDG 777 and it's doing something very weird at takeoff. I'll increase power to approx. 50% and then engage TO/GA, which works fine. But the after around 5 seconds, the throttle decreases. I'm not following the thrust with my throttle during TO/GA, but this is not an issue with other PMDG aircraft I own. I don' t touch my throttle either, so I'm really confused. Does someone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Have a safe flight!

I'm betting it decreases to around 50%?

Please ensure that you read the Intro Manual. There's a setting in there that allows the sim to pay attention to your hardware in certain AT modes like "HOLD," which allows you to reject the takeoff by bringing your throttles back to idle in the takeoff roll (realistically). You can also set it to ignore your hardware at all times.

It's also considered good form (and a good idea) to take a look around the forum first. This one is only a couple below this one:
