Sightseeing Monument Valley

Recommended Posts

I added Orbx Monument Valley to my world recently and used the C118 for my tour, starting at KSEZ Sedona AZ (also an Orbx airport) where I found that I had to back taxi on the runway due to structures close to the taxiway so the adventure started as soon as chocks were pulled.  Overflying Flagstaff and circling around that old volcano that dominates the scenery there, and NNE over the painted desert and overflying the Navajo National Monument is followed by a large basin with those scattered 1000 ft pillars and formations best seen from down on the deck:

After buzzing a few stone edifices I proceed East towards Durango CO, staying low and flying past the Carrizo Mountains and over the Mesa Verde region into Durango.  As always after a little time in the DC6 I was all smiles.  Great fun... no problems with the P3Dv4.3 update.

One of my favorite places, especially at Dawn & Dusk!  Lovely!
