July 18, 200619 yr HiI have several mesh add ons in my scenery library..apart (I presume) from making FS9 load a little bit slower each time you add one is it necessary to remove those from the scenic library that you are not presently using, so say for example your flying in Australia and you have Canada mesh should you remove it until you want to fly in Canada again..if I do that I have to run the FSC database manager (each time) which would be abit of a pain....hope Im making sense?..is the priority critical to performance?
July 18, 200619 yr Author My understanding is that FS9 determines the geographic extent of the files, and only loads files that are "in view". The one exception seems to be addon object libraries, which seem to be accessed all over the world. I don't believe priority has anything to do with performance -- it just determines which scenery elements are used in constructing the view.scott s..
