July 16, 20187 yr I can enter user defined waypoints in the FMC of the PMDG airliners that enable me to create a "racetrack" circuit at any airport. This is done using the format "EGPD340/6", which locates the waypoint 6nm from EGPD Aberdeen on the 340 degree radial. Can someone tell me if this is possible with the Quality Wings Avro RJ? The same format does not work..... July 19, 20187 yr Author Are there no users of the Quality Wings Avro RJ here that know how to do this? I have posted on the QW forum, but I was hoping for a quicker answer on AVSIM.... July 21, 20187 yr Author I was hoping to be able to use this information to plan some flights over the weekend.... Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
July 21, 20187 yr Author I seem to have made some progress. I tried inserting the user defined waypoints on the LEGS page of the FMC, and it seems to be correctly identifying my inputs (in the same format as I use with the PMDG airliners). It does not show the waypoint links on the ND when I am adding them, but it does show the entire combo when I activate the flightplan, and then press EXEC. For anyone interested, please note that adding user defined waypoints on the RTE page does not work with the Quality Wings Avro RJ.
