Using P3Dv4.3 and my Saitek Pro controls (through Spad.neXt) I have had no problems until 2 days ago.

Now my rudder pedals input 'drifts' to give about 85% left rudder input with the pedals themselves physically remaining in the neutral position.

I have tried re-calibrating through Spad.neXt and setting the various inputs to give a larger null zone, and a smoother signal response, all to no avail. I have also tried re-calibration via P3Dv4.3 - again no success.

The problem also occurs running FSX Boxed version and FSX-Steam.

Any help much appreciated.

Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning all contact surfaces?, it might be worth a try.

The answer came via youtube:

1. Disconnect rudder pedals completely from any electrical input.

2. Remove underplate (including the 4 screw under rubber 'pads')

3. Squirt electrical contact cleaner (proprietary brand or 50/50 mix of alcohol plus water) into the potentiometer (a convenient hole exists in the easily accessible 'pot')

4. Exercise pedals each way so that potentiometer moves over full travel for several minutes

5. Use air jet to remove contact cleaner plus loosened dirt  and dry fully (air compressor or compressed air can).

6. When completely dry reassemble underplate and re-connect to computer.

7. Access rudder pedal calibration via sim platform in use and check for correct operation with no 'drifting'.

8. If still prone to drifting - repeat above process from step 1.

This worked for me after just one routine and my rudder pedals now work 100% with no erroneous drifting.
