Recommended Posts

I use the slew control to move aircraft around the airport. all of a sudden it is spinning out of control. I checked the IAS key "z" it was doing 38,00 IAS. I uninstalled fs9, reinstalled, doing the same thing.Any help will be appreciated. thanks.

Sounds like a Rudder issue so try recalibrating your controls. You can also sellect which controls you want to use for SLEW in the Control Setup menu. You could have some dual entries in there as well.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpg

I have two suggestions for you Pimwa:1. Disable the joystick(s) before entering the SLew mode. It is either K or Ctrl+K to do that, or2. Delete the Axis and button definitions from the "JOYSTICK_SLEW" section(s) of your Fs9.cfg config file. I chose this method and this is what the Fs9.cfg looks like for my CH Yoke.[JOYSTICK_MAIN {DAF0B9B0-0AFA-11D7-8001-444553540000}]LOCKED=1AXIS_EVENT_00=AXIS_AILERONS_SETAXIS_SCALE_00=64AXIS_NULL_00=7AXIS_EVENT_01=AXIS_ELEVATOR_SETAXIS_SCALE_01=64AXIS_NULL_01=7AXIS_EVENT_02=AXIS_SPOILER_SETAXIS_SCALE_02=-64AXIS_NULL_02=1AXIS_EVENT_04=AXIS_THROTTLE2_SETAXIS_SCALE_04=127AXIS_NULL_04=1AXIS_EVENT_05=AXIS_THROTTLE1_SETAXIS_SCALE_05=127AXIS_NULL_05=1BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_00=AP_MASTERBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_01=CENTER_AILER_RUDDERBUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT_01=1BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_02=RUDDER_LEFTBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_03=RUDDER_RIGHTBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_04=GEAR_UPBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_05=GEAR_DOWNBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_06=FLAPS_DECRBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_07=FLAPS_INCRBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_08=VIEW_MODEBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_09=VIEW_MODE_REVBUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_10=ELEV_TRIM_DNBUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT_10=1BUTTON_DOWN_EVENT_11=ELEV_TRIM_UPBUTTON_DOWN_REPEAT_11=1POV_MOVE_EVENT_00=PAN_VIEWPOV_MOVE_REPEAT_00=1[JOYSTICK_SLEW {DAF0B9B0-0AFA-11D7-8001-444553540000}]LOCKED=1I did the same thing (deleted all definitions) in the "JOYSTICK_SLEW" section for my CH Pedals but the problem was being caused by the Yoke.R-

Thanks for your replies, checked all of your suggestions.nothing changed, tried the joy stick out on another comp. worked fine. moved joy stick over to another usb port, worked fine .had been using a usb axis board in the port.? seems like I read somewere that the comp likes to keep the same port for the same controller!, " keep In mind, It Is the simple things that confuse us." thanks again.
