''problem'' with weather radar rain patterns

Featured Replies

hello i use active sky for p3d v4 as my weather engine however i believe there is something wrong with rain pattern.i dont know how to explain so here is the picture. https://i.hizliresim.com/aYpX47.jpg  . i meant it does not look realistic only there are a lot of circles instead of 1 whole raining area. i tried with pmdg 737 777 and quality wing 787 allsame problem maybe i m missing something

Thank you for your post.  I think it is more a limitation of the sim itself, Active Sky does its best to interpolate weather from many stations to provide a snapshot of where the cells are, to make it look like real life the weather cells would have to be drawn (texture) making the radar depiction less realsistic.  Please ensure that you have detailed and maximum cloud cover checked.

If you look at the image from XPlane the image is more closely related to actual Wx returns.
