Featured Replies

1.check if reflection is on for your tomato prolfie you choose or applied. did you apply one?

2.check if dynamic reflection slider on your settings are at least at LOW

3.check that your aircraft firmware is updated

Everything is up to date. The only plane that works with Tomato at the moment is the PMDG737. All I do is go in the reflection maker and add the reflections through there. Do I have to press apply preset in the the Tomato App?

Adding more info

you have to apply reflection to the reflection maker for every aircraft  subtype, lets say 777-200, 300. not for every livery.

i think you have to set preset yes, and its better to do!

Okay guys so i figured this out, When i updated Tomato-Shade it un-checked everything so the preset wasn't applying correctly.

Open tomato-shade click file -> Open -> (open your preset, i used the default) .

Then click Actions -> apply.

Open reflection maker restore the aircraft in question then re-apply your preset!

Job done 😄

Kind Regards Harry

Make sure that u have ur original shaders in P3D before u first start tomatoshade. If u used any mod (PTA etc.) before, please restore original shaders and run again tomatoshade.

If all else fails, uninstall and then reinstall the p3d client. I had the same issue as wilkart with no option in TS to restore original shaders (grayed out). I read another post here on Avsim to do that, i did and it worked.

This will fix pretty much any issue most people are having with tomatoshade.

1. Open tomatoshade and check for updates and update if available.
2. Delete ShadersHLSL folder
3. Repair Prepar3D client
4. Apply tomatoshade preset
5. Apply reflection profiles

If i update the prepar3d Client i will be change to Prep 3 v4.5 ?
When you say delete Shaders HLSL folder , you are talking about the folder inside the prepar3d ?

Thanks

Not if you don't want to.

You can download the version you want when you log into your downloads - legacy client downloads.🙂
