Advice on how to set this up

Recommended Posts

I am new to the flight sim world, and I have set up a network to run this little operation.  Here is what I have and I would like some advice on how to set it up.

MSI Dominator Laptop with i7-7700hq processor with 8 3.7 cores

64 GB ram, 500GB m.2 Flash Hard Drive and 1 1 TB Hybrid Flash-HHD  3 View sonic Monitors set up in Surround Mode.

I have a network PC i3-3223 @ 3.3 GHS, 512 Msata Flash and 1 TB WD Green Drive.

As far as software goes:

FSUIPC (registered), Radar Contact v4.3, Active Sky 2016 FSX, Rex Worldwide Airports HD FSX, SImflyer, All of the Fly Tampa Scenery Packs, Wide Traffic X Wide view X, My Traffic Professional, Rex Essential Plus, Rex Texture Direct, and many many more.

What I need to know is how to set all of this so it looks realistic, and flies well. What programs to put on Terror(the Main FLight PC) and which ones to put on Erebus(the server PC),  I have been trying to get FSUIPC set up to control the aircraft for a week or so but I have had no luck.

Sorry if this is not the right forum, but hey, newbie here.

Thanks a lot.  Remember EllisDee ain't free

The following link here on AVSIM might help -

The good thing about FSX is that nothing has changed in 12 years and there are a lot of guides and videos.  I also found a video -

I am just a bit overwhelmed, all these add on's, radios, flight panels, instrument panel, switch panel.  FSUIPC is where I am having my hold up.  the network is up and running, I just can't seem to get all of the Saitek panels to be working correctly at the same time, either the radio panel works, or the multipanel works, or neither of them work and the instrument panel shows the altimeter.  AACK, I am in over my head me thinks.
