Setting up flight in P3D, CTD

Featured Replies

This morning I set up a flight in P3D v4.2, and then selected my 737 for the flight. As soon as I selected the aircraft, P3D crashed to desk top. I rebooted my computer and tried again, with the same result.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Try selecting a P3D default aircraft like the F22 instead and see what happens. If it works then load your 737. If it fails then it's the aircraft.
Or it might be that you are using a non P3D default aircraft as your startup aircraft which is not suggested. Use the default P3D scenario as your startup scenario instead and then load your 737.

Bill, i usually start with the default (F22?) aircraft as the start up in the opening screen.

I opted though to take your idea, and once I loaded my flight plan with the F22 as my aircraft, it loaded fine. I then selected the pmdg 737-800 from there, and it worked just fine.

I do not know why it is acting this way suddenly, maybe a corrupt pathway somewhere. But your solution satisfies things for me for the time being.

Thank you
