Could my PC handle P3D?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I know there are so many of these topics, but I am searching for a wright answer for days now, and can't find any.
I am willing to make te step from FSX to P3D v4, but I am not sure if my PC is able to run P3D with all the texture add ons that I want to add to it (PMDG, REX, ORBX, airport addons etc). I do meet and exceed the minimum requirements P3D advice on their website, butnot the recommended, so that makes me a bit insecure. Could someone tell me if my specs are good enough to run the game smoothly, at a relative high graphic setting:

My specs are:

Intel core i5-8400 4GHz
Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR4-2400
NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

If you think I need to upgrade some of these computer parts, which one should I upgrade and which alternative would you recommend?

Thank you so much,

CPU should be ok, dont know if you can overclock that a little? Is it the "K" version?

16GB of DDR4 3000+Mhz Would be helpful.

GFX, Maybe consider the 6GB 1060 or ti or even a 1070ti if you can stretch to that.

You will probably struggle with what you have once you start adding addons into P3D. If P3D is running stock, then what you have would probably be ok, because p3d runs really nicely with no addons.
