Spot plane View from nowhere?

Featured Replies

Hello all

I am experiencing an unusual event.

When I try to activate an inside cockpit view by using a Joystick button, it brings up a spot plane outside view which I have never programmed?

I do not even have this view in any of my presets, inside or outside??

I have thoroughly checked all my FSX and FSUIPC views to see if this is where it is coming from. There is absolutely no reference to this joystick button any where within FSX or FSUIPC.?

It seems that there may have been such an outside view originally programmed the that particular button because, SOMETIMES , when I press it, I actually get the correct view which is what I want but most of the time, it brings up this unwanted spot view?

Nowhere in Chaseplane or FSX or FSUIPC is there any reference to this spot plane View?

Does anyone have any idea where else I should look to see where this is coming from?

By  the way the title of the view appears in the upper right of the screen saying "Spot View"

Thank you

Have you tried assigning that button to something random in P3D to see what it is assigned to?

I don't use P3D But only FSX and, yes I can assign it within FSX with no problem?

Can you generate a report file from the preferences after observing the issue and send the file over to us via email?
