VNAV APP on 748

Hi all,

yesterday i was surprised, that the 748 can do a full VNAV APP with FAC and (i am not sure, sorry) GS?. The 737´s are doing that and i am glad that the 747 is doing it now too. But i saw something new: the distance to the RWY is the direct distance from the present position. On the 737 it is the distance to fly on that APP.

Is it diffrent between 747 and 737?
