Please can someone please tell me how to stop the spot view from defaulting? Everytime I load up my sim it automatically defaults to something like 525 in spot view. I perosnally like it about 230. How can I permantly change it to 230?thanks Paul

Load up your default flight.Change the view options as you please.Save the flight and check is as default. That should be all you need.

Good advice Jeff,Let me add... if you are using any of the more complex addon aircraft that you retain the default cessna 172 and keep it in 2d panel view for this saved default flight. That will help ensure baseline parameters are retained in FS and that the gauges load correctly.

Thank very much for the help guysRegardsPaul

Ummmm..... tried the suggestions but it is really the distance view that bugs me not the zoom view. If I set the distance to say 230 which is what I like, from its normal default distance of 512, everytime I cycle through various views, it always reverts back to the original default view. How can I stop it from doing this in distance view?regardsPaul
