Hi Folks,

up to now, updating to a new version of SimServer was a manual process. You got notified by a popup that a new version was available and some of you updated, others just ignored the message.

The next version of SimServer will have an auomatic updating mechanism. Whenever SimServer is started, it will check if an update is available in which case it will automatically download the latest version, run the updater and once all files are copied, run SimServer again - all within a few seconds (depending on internet speed).

This functionality will be rolled out with the next release (due to be released within a week).

At this time I would like to take the opportunity and answer any questions or concerns.
