November 12, 20187 yr I can see how to assign a game controller to activate SHIFT in Linda but is it possible to simply use a keyboard combination (on your normal pc keyboard) to activate Shift ? (like assigning SHIFT key to enter that mode) - if so how - thanks - great software. Edited November 12, 20187 yr by julian46 better explanation
November 16, 20187 yr Hi Julian Nice idea but I am not sure how to do it. LINDA avoids using the keyboard because it is aimed at making the programming of joysticks easier. I will keep this in mind should I reopen the GUI code. November 16, 20187 yr Author thanks Andrew - no worries - I simply found a spare button on my MS FlightStick - great app! - thanks for releasing it - really enhances what we can do with our hardware - I'm amazed how much in the Add ons you have access to and what you can assign (PMDG737, new Aerosoft Airbus Pro)
November 18, 20187 yr Just to close this issue down, use of the keyboard is dependent on which application has focus. LINDA needs to operate effectively regardless of where the focus is. A limited number of hot keys are used by LINDA but these are system function (ie. restart and minimise) and could not be made generally available.
