737-6/700 install help, registry issue i believe

Hi all. Looking for some help on installing the 737-6/700 expansion. I just purchased the expansion although I purchased the 8/900 base pack a couple weeks ago. The base pack installed without a problem but the 6/700 expansion can't find the base pack. I have P3D v4 and have it installed on my D drive instead of the default location. In the read me, it says I may have to correct my computer registry to reflect the correct location and was looking for information on how to do that. Thanks.
