Night lighting problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have some issue with the night lightning with my p3d

The lights are very weak from high altitudes and it's almost impossible to see them

I tried to install a few night lightning add-ons in order to fix this problem but nothing helped

Here is zoomed picture for an example:

http://prntscr.com/ltjn5z

This is an example for a road with its lightning, as you can see it's very weak and sparse.

More over for this picture, most of the roads are "lightning –less"

I think that the night lightning textures are corrupt and as a result that what is happening

I will add my p3d settings

(The HDR is unticked and I don’t want to use it. It makes bad lightning effects in my opinion)

But enabling it makes the lights to be "harder" nor abundant

Mabey I need to replace the default night-lightning textures?

?does anyone knows this files names

Thanks for help.

The settings:

http://prntscr.com/ltjtum

http://prntscr.com/ltju34

(I have a good machine so it's not should be a result of a weak hardware)

Try deleting your shaders and restart sim.

ok I will give it a try

is this should to fix the lights problem ?

yeah - could be something up with your video drivers as well.  Start with the shaders and go from there.
