Managing all my Scenery's. Need advice.

Featured Replies

So I have been simming for many years. And I have collected a very large amount of scenery's over the years. I've noticed the more and more I add the longing it takes to load. Now this doesn't seem to impact in-sim performance any but my loads times are awfully high. I am using the great Lorby-si Tool to manage and install the old scenerys and keep things organized. So I guess my question is: Is it possible to enable and disable scenery's in large chunks or groups. For example if I know I am going to fly lets say KSFO to KIAD can I disable all other airport addons? Or just have them like North America and Europe? Anyway thanks for any help anyone can provide here.

Check out SimstarterNG. It does exactly what you want. Create groups for your sceneries.

Yes, you can use the 'Groups' function in Lorby-SI's P4AO tool that you already use.

Click on 'Add group' and start adding sceneries that you want in a grouping. Highlight the groups you do or don't want, then click 'Activate all groups' or 'Disable all groups' as required - simples!

Ok. That will save me some money. I am going to fiddle with P4AO. Thanks
