Low FPS with Flysimware's DA50

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased the aforementioned add on; FPS are quite lower than all of my other aircraft and at least some of it appears to be related to the GTN units I have integrated into the panel. Other users have tweaked the F1 GTN .ini file to use a different CPU core and have improved their FPS; I don't know if this might be an option? I have noticed that the FPS jumps by 10 - 15 with the unit(s) off. Thoughts?

Hi,

This is probably the first time I'm reading a report of a FPS drop since we've introduced our product!

I'd suggest you instead review whether you have both integrated and discrete video card and whether the GTN Simulator.exe process is assigned to the discrete video card only for example, should this apply to your system.

Nevertheless, should you want to tweak this, please open the RealityXP.GTN.ini file and look for this setting in the corresponding device section (for example [GTN_750_1])

; sets trainer process CPU: 1 to 32 (0: last core, -1: automatic).
CpuAffinity = -1
