August 16, 200619 yr At various times when I start the FSX demo my system shuts down and restarts just as the splashscreen is loading. I've been able to narrow this down to a file named nv4_disp.dll which is an Nvidia file. Never had this happen with FS2004 and it doesn't happen all the time with FSX. Does it happen to anybody else?
August 17, 200619 yr I had this problem using nv4_disp 9131. I rolled back to 8466 and this cured the problem. Hope this helps.
