Hi everyone,

I turned on the FMS  feature to upload the alternate flight plan(s). Because of weather tonight I decided to do a 'go-around' in Boston and head to my first Alternate from my PFPX flight plan. The FMC offered 'Alternate Flight Plan Up Load Link'. If the feature is active how do you activate the upload link?

This option is not uplinking alternate FLIGHT PLANS, but the alternate airports LIST, that meet the preset criteria.

This is, if you are talking about the same data link option I think of.

There is one more option related to alternates that has to do with weather uplinks.

In either case there is no flight plan uplinking functionality for alternate airports.
