G1000 database update

Hi all, 

I (somewhat hastily) bought the Grand Caravan for P3D4 in order to do some VATSIM flying as a (more-or-less) type-correct Fedex Express feeder operation.  In order to do this under IFR, I need to have a current AIRAC loaded. I checked Navigraph and their download page lists "Carenado (all products)", so I assumed the aviation DB for the G1000 could be updated.  I've run the updater from Navigraph but the AIRAC identified by the G1000 is still old (2008?)

Is there a way to do this at all, or is it fixed?

I use RXP GTN 750 in my steam gauged C208.

Hi Bic, thanks very much for that.  I think the 750/C208 might be the (better) way to go. I've never liked the mud-brown ground depiction of the g1000 anyway 🙂
