anyone with a fix? none transparent glass!

Featured Replies

i've posted this in the issues topic, but i'm posting seperately in the hope of some tech advice.i and a few others have been experiencing a problem with the new crj700 and beaver in that the glass in vc mode is not transparent! on the outside, or in the two other aircraft it is fine, but in these two craft the glass loads fine, before going grey/brown respectively.i took a look through the textures but cannot find the glass anywhere to adjust the alpha. anyone else had this problem and fixed it? i heard just to restart the sim or reload the plane; but that doesn't make a difference.cheers, hinch

Had the same problem and thought it was my anti-alasing settings, but when I UNCHECKED the "Bloom" Checkbox in the display settings that cleared in up. Hope that helps.

i unchecked 'bloom' and i still have the problem =( i guess it is to do with drivers maybe? but i have the latest...arrrgh

While I've not seen this on the default aircraft, it happens on some FS9 aircraft I've imported. What works for me is to change views ("S" or "SHIFT-S"), let things settle down, then change back.

Read the readme. I think it is a bug in the demo.
