Freeware Gem for Vintage Fans

For any fans of vintage biplanes I found a recently released freeware Avro 621 biplane developed by Nigel Richards and others over at SOH. This excellent addon is as good as many payware vintage aircraft and is beautifully modelled both internally and externally. Although the systems are relatively simple, as one would expect in an aircraft developed in the late 1920s, the instruments and controls are nicely replicated down to the somewhat quirky rotary engine starting handle on the right cockpit sidewall and the locking mechanism for the Auto Slots (slats). In addition the flight dynamics seem realistic and the engine soundset is great. In the description, this is described as an FSX port over but don't let that put you off as this is a high quality product.

We are lucky to still have such talented developers who generously give their time and skills to produce such excellent freeware for the community. They all deserve our gratitude but I felt that the team that produced this little gem deserve special recognition!
