Thank you again.  I followed the directions from a previous reply as to how to register  the file and received the reply , "unregistered  server in msstdmfmt.dll succeeded" . I was hoping that this would do it.  I restarted my pc, and the same old "runtime error 713" popped up again.  I am getting a new pc next week to try to run the fsx 2020, so I will try again to install radar contac on that new pc.

If you included the /u in the command that’s what unregistered it. Enter the command again but without the /u. That should register it.

Hello again, Radar contact did not work for very long.  New error message now, "cannot link to fsuipc". I checked the FLT/WX and put in C:\users\john forshner\documents\FlightSim X and get the same error message.. Thanks again for any help.

Obvious question. Is FSX running?

If it is then this topi should help.
