I haven't noticed that yet (been flying in nice weather :) ). That is very very cool though. FSX continues to impress me with these little things.

I noticed that too its so much better. Also I didn't get any of the sudden visibility changes which are real annoying in fs9.I was checking on the ground to see if rain would be affected by wind, and it seems not it falls straight down. Then I was checking the smoke effects from a plane from fs9. Anyd the smoke was definitely affected by the wind. I don't recall seeing that in fs9.

Interesting effects, glad the atmosphere has recieved some work. All good news, it's looking better and better, thanks for the posts.Ian.

Hi,that is really great news! :-) This was one of the most annoying weather related issues in comination with the restriction to only one visbility layer in FS2004, what seems to be fixed now, too. Again, great news!Jan

I just did a flight where I set 0-200ft at 1 mile viz and then 200-400 at 2 mile, and 400-500 at 3 mile. Although the viz does butt up sharply with the terrain that is softened with multiple layers and its amazing to descend into.
