I have the big set (FS Global Ultimate NG FTX) and it doesn't seem to hurt my frames from what I can see.  Even if it did a bit, it's still way worth it IMHO.

Judge yourself.

That video is about FSGlobal Ultimate but I would say, the difference between FSG2018 and default would be the same.

I wouldn't ever fly anywhere without an addon mesh and have also one from FSGlobal
