Is there a reason that some kits have NNumber PSD files and others do not?

For example: The PMDG_748_PAX_Paintkit has 2 NNumber PSD files where the PMDG_747v3_PAX_ER_Paintkit contains no such PSD files.

Maybe I should just go to bed...
