No ATC sound with FS9 on windows 10

Hello All,

I just installed fs9 on a newly  installed Windows 10. Flight sim works fine but there is no sound with ATC communication just the written dialog. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have searched tirelessly on google to no avail.

Have you checked ATC is turned up in the FS sound options?

Yes I checked to make sure everything was on... volume up.

Are you running FS9 in administrator mode?

Do you hear others sounds in game?
