February 15, 20197 yr Hey guys, So I recently purchase RXP GNS530W V2 and I am having two issues with the software. The first issue I am having is how do I update the Navigation Database in the software? On the GNS its saying that the nav database is from 2009. Second Issue I am having I guess is related to the first issue. When I am trying to load flightplans I keep getting the message that the Waypoint is locked and I need to check my flight plan. I am using SkyVector to plan my flights.

March 6, 20197 yr Author So I am aware and know how to update the database file. The problem is, where can I find a current database? Going through Garmin is definitely not in my budget and last I tried, I need to have an actual 530 unit to purchase an updated database through them
