I'm running fsx steam edition on w10.  FSX ctd's whenever the altitude knob is moved.  I have tried reinstalling the aircraft and have verified the game files in stem.  I am at my wits end.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Rename the dll.xml (in same folder as FSX.cfg) to dll.off.  Restart and see if this fixes it.
