fsx.exe file missing?

Recommended Posts

So i recently purchased the GNS G530 hardware to add to my flight sim setup using FSX Steam edition.  Super excited to use it.  I was told by RealSimGear that i would need to download the RealityXP software to get it working.  So i purchased the software for $50, and when i go to download it and i have to specify a file path to save it, i get this message....

C:\program files (x86)\steam

is not a valid fsx.se steam edition folder.

make sure to choose the folder where fsx.exe version 10 is located.

Here's the problem.... i cant find that folder anywhere on my computer that contains the fsx.exe file.  Even when i search in the search bar (windows 10 computer) i cannot find it.The installer literally will not allow me to continue without saving it in that folder.  I am at a dead end and cannot move forward from here.

Has anyone else ever experienced this issue and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Thank you!
