Problems processing payments through PayPal

I´m having issues when trying to process a payment (ATR42) through PayPal. It shows a PayPal message indicating that "things are not working right now" and suggests to "try later". This message is appearing since yesterday evening, so I have not processed any payment.

How safe it would be to process directly through a credit card?.


PD: I succesfully used PayPal today for a different purchase and it worked well right away, so it seems this is a problem related eclusively to Carenado
