Try to use a VPN to see if it solves the issue. "Put" yourself (I mean your IP address) in a place in Europe or in the US.

No need to use the horizontal bar. I think it'll depend on your screen resolution or size.

It's the Tecnam P2012, fully recommended. At that price it's a bargain.

If you mean a monthly AIRAC update (to keep your navigation data up-to-date) something that could be qualified as "constant", well, yes, they're very necessary and welcome. Apart of those AIRAC updates, having one or two updates every month is nothing to be concerned about and it depends on your particular installation. The world updates are good, but not released often, the latest one was for Japan, and happened months ago. The sim updates - in the best case - it only happen once a year, if any. So, please, they're absolutely not "constant".

I think maybe something's going on server side, because yesterday I got stutters all over when landing at EDDL and today I had some loggin issues and had to reboot my PC before firing up MSFS2020 again. During the second start-up everything was back to normal and the sim looked very fluid this time.

I'm not a X-Plane user, and I really have never tried it, but recently I knew from this site (see below) that ortho textures are not needed anymore when using this very well known app in MSFS2020/2024: https://www.aiflygo.com Probably X-Plane people should take a look at it.

It happens to me sometimes, and when I change airports and come back to the original it works well. Of course it's a FSDT problem.

I'll probably will be updating mine to v581.08 from v566.14 after almost one year, not because it's required or I'm expecting the graphics/performance to be better, but just to get a newer version. On my opinion, unless there's something specific regarding MSFS on these drivers mentioned in the release notes, which isn't the case, there's no need to change anything.

I would suggest using the Map Enhancement Tool, with the new Bing Maps. The terrain looks very sharp and clear to me.

Wew!, I've been flying the YS-11 lately and forgot almost averything about the Citation X, but as far as I remember, you have to properly set up your throttle controller for the reversers to work as in any other airplane. I set up my throttle controller following the guidelines for the FBW A320 on their website, so google it and good luck and patience.

The absence of an acceptable good AI engine and ATC, apart from some other important issues like performance improvements and memory optimisation, were the causes of my surprise when I first saw the announcement of a new sim, thereafter known as MSFS2024, still with so many issues, that switched the priority over the new version, instead of make further progress into MSFS2020 at a faster pace. Apart from that, in my opinion, the business model to approach the launch of MSFS2024 has been a total failure for Microsoft.

Just a week ago I had a "CHECKING FOR UPDATES" (MSFS2020) screen appearing for more than 5 minutes until it finally allowed me to get in.

Never use a VPN through Steam, otherwise it can be trouble.

I suspect something was wrong hours ago, when trying to start up MSFS2020 it took very long to get past the 'CHECKING FOR UPDATES" screen.

Days ago... There's also a tweak available at Flightsim.to to reduce their textures size from 4k/2k to 1k, very useful to improve FPS

You have to reset the generators switches after starting the engines, otherwise you'll remain on battery until they drain out.

Please respond, that's not clear enough, because if the addon is activated within MSFS it couldn't be started-out before firing up MSFS, so it's not really an external app. I'm confused. Sorry for asking too many questions: (1) What's the preferred controller type used to move inside MSFS in all directions (keyboard?). In case the keyboard could be used, the movements are possible by using the MSFS drone camera system?. Please explain. (2) Could the user aircraft be spotted from any previously created airport viewpoint, or only AI aircraft?. Thanks in advance.

Well, let the developer respond to that but if spotty is an external app it doesn’t have to go into the Community folder at all

One last question (for the time...): the app will remain on top of the screen, or can it be sent to the background too, while not in use?. I make this question because instead of being minimized it would be more convenient to be able to send it to the background when you're running MSFS in full-screen mode. Thanks in advance.

Some preliminary questions: 1. Does it have an icon on the toolbar, or it's an external application that has to be started from windows/desktop together with the sim?. 2. Does it run in MSFS fullscreen mode? 3. Could the user create viewpoints for later use? 4. Are you related to the creator(s) of FSRealistic? The app looks interesting.

Got Covid twice, the second 5 months after the first vaccine. The two cases lasted no more than 6-7 days, making me feeling weak and tired. After the latest case, got two more shots and so far so good. I would also recommend anyone who uses to go often to crowded places to always wear a mask.

Wow, flew over the Tokyo area after the update, and have to say the PG looks remarkable. Good job on MS/Asobo and maybe no need to further enhance this scenery.
