May 3, 20197 yr Hello people, Let me introduce first. My name is Ricardo and i live in Portugal. Beeing an huge fan of Simulator, since the old Fs2002 🙂 but not a great pilot, i like to spend some of my free time fliying and learn a little bit more. Right now i have a laptop ( HP Omen i7 7700 HQ and GTX1060 MaxQ) but i would like to make a change for a desktop machine, and of course, i have many doubts. Here is the machine that i am planning: INTEL I5 9600K - 250,90€ MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS - 139,90€ Gigabyte GTX1660 Ti Gaming OC 6GB  - 327,90€ Crucial 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3000MHz Ballistix Tactical Tracer RGB - 103,90€ CoolerMaster Masterwatt 650W Gold - 79,90€ CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML120L - 56,90€ CoolerMaster MasterBox 5 Pro - 75,90€ Crucial MX500 M.2 2280 500GB - 75,90€ Corsair K55 RGB - 55,90€ AOC C32G1 Curved - 299,90€ Total Cost: 1461,00€ Doubts: 1) Is this machine well balanced for P3D V4 and/or X Plane 11? 2) In your opinion what change you made to this machine? i am limited to around 1500€ right now. 3) The 1660TI will "handle" in the future 2 more AOC C32G1?  Best regards,  Ricardo Carpinteiro #RumoAo37  Ricardo (Montijo, Portugal).System: MSFS2020 NEW BUILD in process: Intel i7 12700K, Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Ultra, 64GB RAM DDR5, Gigabyte RTX 3080 TI, 2TB SSD Samsung 980 PRO, 1TB SSD WD SN750, 1TB SSD Kingston A2000, Corsair Hydro H150i Elite LCD, Corsair RM1000x, Corsair Virtuoso SE Headset, Corsair 5000D Airflow with 7 SP120mm RGB Elite Fans, LG 35WN65 (3440x1440), Thrustmaster Airbus Officer Pack+AddOn
May 3, 20197 yr I would recommend at least an 8GB graphics card if not higher. Either a 1080Ti, RTX 2070 or RTX 2080. Especially if you plan to use VR in the future. You don't need a fancy keyboard, a standard €10 will do,and a Notcua cooler is probably better and cheaper than water cooling Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK.
